The must-haves
In the north of the region, take the tourist route Yonne vineyardswhich crosses the terroirs of the Auxerrois, Chablis and Tonnerrois regions.
Further south, the renowned des Grands Crus de Bourgogne stretches from the gates of Dijon to those of Saône-et-Loire. Here you will discover the famous vineyards of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, with legendary crus such as Chambertin, Romanée-Conti, Corton and Montrachet.

This route invites you to taste, in moderation, excellent red wines such as le Rully and Mercureyas well as tasty white wines such as those from Montagny and Givry.
To extend this wine experiencehead further south to the Mâconnais-Beaujolais wine route. Here you can savour fine appellations such as Mâcon, Viré-Clessé, Pouilly-Fuissé and Saint-Véraneach offering a unique expression of the Burgundy terroir.
Discovering Givry
Just five minutes from our hotel-restaurant, Givry opens its doors to you for an escapade steeped in charm and history. Founded in Gallo-Roman times, this pleasant commune was soon surrounded by vineyards.
From the 6th century, its wines already enjoyed an excellent reputation. History, or legend, even has it that Henri IV made it his favourite wine! And today.., the quality of its wines is recognised by the Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée (AOC) Givry and Burgundy-Côte Chalonnaise, with over 260 hectares of vineyards.
This magnificent terroir is celebrated throughout the year with festive events such as the Œnorires, Vintage humour in February, the Givry wine market in April, and Les Musicaves Festivalwhich runs through late June and early July.
But there's more to Givry than its wines. Take a walk in its picturesque streetsYou'll discover a rich and varied heritage. The town hall, built in the 18th century in an old city gateIt is a listed historic monument and is still used for town council meetings and wedding ceremonies.
